How many videos a month can we edit?
While there’s no limit to the number of tickets you can submit, In short, it’s difficult to provide an exact answer to this question, since every client’s working style and project demands vary widely. That being said, we can usually promise 1-2 day turnarounds on first drafts, and 24 hours on revision rounds (videos needing subtitles may take slightly longer due to proofing.
What types of videos can you edit?
We edit: Tutorials Vlogs Talking Heads Interviews Trendy Shorts Online Courses Repurposed Live Videos Ads Review Videos Travel Videos Real Estate Videos Repurposing Your Longer-Form Content Drone Footage Highlight Reels and much more — The only editing services we don’t offer are the following: We can’t record voiceovers Cartoons and Custom animations Music videos Wedding videos We don’t edit videos with a final length longer than 500 minutes If you don’t see your video type in the list above, please drop us a message to one of our friendly team at the on-site chat icon and we’ll see if we can help you!
Do I get my project files too?
Yes. Each delivery contains a draft of your video, along with the project files and any additional assets we've sourced.
How will we communicate to ensure the video work gets done?
Step 01— You submit your video projects through our customer portal. To review the videos, you’ll be given a link to Frame.io, our video-proofing tool for businesses. One of the challenges businesses face when working with video editing freelancers is the lack of a production process. Our video edit service aims to make the project communication process as efficient as possible between each marketing team.
What video editing software do you use?
We use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to edit your videos.
What are your working hours & holidays?
Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm UTC + 05:30. During the final week of the year, we take a company-wide break for Christmas and New Year (December 24 - January 1). All clients receive advanced notice of the exact days and dates we take off as the break nears. We also observe and don’t work on the following Sri Lankan Public Holidays. January 13: Duruthu Full Moon Poya Day January 14: Tamil Thai Pongal Day February 4: National Day February 12: Navam Full Moon Poya Day February 26: Maha Shivaratri Day March 13: Medin Full Moon Poya Day April 12: Bak Full Moon Poya Day April 13: Day Prior to Sinhala & Tamil New Year April 14: Sinhala & Tamil New Year Day April 18: Good Friday May 1: International Workers’ Day (May Day) May 12: Vesak Full Moon Poya Day May 13: Day Following Vesak Poya Day June 7: Id-Ul-Alha (Hadji Festival Day) June 10: Poson Full Moon Poya Day July 10: Esala Full Moon Poya Day August 8: Nikini Full Moon Poya Day September 5: Milad-Un-Nabi (Prophet Muhammad's Birthday) September 7: Binara Full Moon Poya Day October 6: Vap Full Moon Poya Day October 20: Deepavali (Festival of Lights) November 5: Ill Full Moon Poya Day November 17: Special Holiday December 4: Unduvap Full Moon Poya Day December 25 - Jan 01: Christmas Break We do work on the following U.S. Holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day (third Monday of January) President’s Day (third Monday of February) Memorial Day (last Monday of May) Juneteenth (June 19) Independence Day (July 4) Labor Day (first Monday of September) Indigenous People’s Day (the second Monday of October) Veteran’s Day (November 11) Thanksgiving (the third Thursday of November) All holidays and breaks are pre-calculated into the subscription plan prices.
